Our Native Wonderland package is our most popular, which includes end-to-end service throughout the whole project. From the initial consultation and design, through to the installation of your new garden, we ensure your vision is brought to life through our thoughtful intent, expertise and dedication to creating timeless native landscapes.
what’s included:

& site overview
During your consultation we will discuss your dreams and desires for your garden. This part of the process allows us to get to know your space and understand what you’d like it to become.
The site overview is a time for us to gather information and learn the layout of your garden, during this time we will take measurements, do soil testing, take note of the light conditions and any other necessary points relevant to the project.
Consultation fees starting from: $400
native garden design
Your native garden design will give you a clear vision of what your garden will become and how we have chosen to bring your dreams and desires to life, using plants and materials that will work best in your space. All designs include the following:
2D plan outlining plant placement and quantities
Planting key for each garden bed, including the description for each plant.
Recommended soil improvement.
Recommended garden features and placement in the garden.
A post planting care guide.
Native Garden Design fees starting from $2500, which includes consultation fee.
supply & installation
The best part of the package… our small and dedicated team does all the work for you!
We will bring your native garden design to life, by supplying and installing every part of the process, which commonly includes:
Site preparation & green waste removal
Soil amending & improvement
Reticulation alteration
Sourcing of all plants, materials & garden features based upon your design
Installation of garden features & materials such as corten steel garden edging, bird baths, rocks, stepping stones, etc.
Planting
Mulching
Monthly check in for support & guidance, during the first 12 months of establishment
To ensure we remain dedicated to our knowledge & strengths while transforming your space into a native wonderland, we do not offer the installation of lawn, paving, decking, retaining walls, fencing, or other hardscaping services.
Supply & Installation fees starting from: $12,500, which includes consultation & native garden design fee.
treebate assistance
Every garden deserves a native feature tree and thankfully our State Government agrees!
The WA state government is currently offering a rebate of up to $150, when you purchase a native tree for your garden. To support and make the most of this wonderful incentive, all our designs will feature a native tree suitable to your space and desires… and we are more than happy to help you file for the rebate if needed!
what’s not included
To ensure we remain dedicated to our knowledge & strengths while transforming your space into a native wonderland, we do not install gardens based on designs that aren’t ours and we don’t offer the installation of lawn, paving, decking, retaining walls, fencing, or other hardscaping services.

At Make It Flower it is our hope to rewild the landscape design industry and welcome the diversity of our native plants into modern landscapes, rather than let it be lost by them.
We are Mel and Matt, a small team of two with a blended background in Conservation, Land Management and Landscape Design. We met while working at a native plant nursery and bonded over our love for the unique native plants scattered all over WA and the passion we feel about preserving them. We always make sure our native gardens represent this and are cultivated with a balance of sustainability, functionality and intentional design specific to your space and desires.
Our goal is to weave native vegetation back into urban areas - creating personalised, timeless gardens that thrive in our unique climate and act as nature corridors that support our local wildlife.
Our dream is to revive the connection people share with nature. To put the beauty of it right in front of them in their very own gardens, where they can nurture, admire, and feel the joy of living in harmony with the land they call home.
When you choose a native garden designed and installed by us, you are choosing to let the magic of our land be preserved and blossom in your garden, while allowing two people with a massive passion for native plants, do what they love!
